carrot halwa recipe


Preparation:
1. Pour the milk into heat on a medium setting till the visiotherm pointer reaches the 11o'clock position.


2. Remove the lid and simmer for some time until the milk thickens a little. Add the grated carrots and fresh cream.


3. Mix well. Cook on medium heat till the carrots soften. Add sugar. Dry up the moisture, stirring occasionally, till the Halwa starts to leave the sides of the unit.

4. Remove from heat and garnish. For garnishing heat a 16cm Double handle on a medium setting till the visiotherm pointer reaches the first red mark.

5. Add ghee and toast the cashewnuts on low heat, till golden brown. Garnish the halwa with toasted cashewnuts and serve hot.

Ingredients
1 kg carrot, grated
1 ltr fat-free milk
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 1/2cup sugar
10-12 cashewnuts
2 tsp ghee
