chilli chicken super recipe


Ingredients
1/2 kg chicken, cut into medium pieces
2 onions, diced
3 tsp chopped spring onions
4 small green chillies, chopped
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 garlic cloves
3-5 curry leaves
1/2 tsp pepper powder
2-3 tsp soya sauce
Salt to taste

Preparation:

1. Marinate the chicken pieces in soya sauce and pepper for about 2-3 hours. Drain the marinade well and keep both aside.

2. Preheat a 2.4cm Roaster on medium heat till the visiotherm pointer reaches the first red mark.

3. Drop in the marinated chicken and roast well on both sides, following the general guidelines for roasting.

4. Mix in the garlic, chopped ginger, green chillies and diced onions. Add a pinch of salt, if required.

5. Cover and cook till the chicken is tender. Dry up the excess moisture, add the marinade and the chopped spring onions.

6. Stir-fry for a few minutes. Remove from heat and serve with fried rice.
